There are two options for this Gulf TREE training: (1) taking the training to become a power user on your own or with a small group or (2) using the kit to train others to become power users.
Gulf TREE is a climate resilience tool search engine that allows users to access relevant tools quickly, easily, and confidently. If you are unfamiliar, check out the buttons below to learn more about the project and try out the site!
Who should become a Gulf TREE Power User?
Anyone can be a Gulf TREE Power User. We especially recommend becoming a Power User if you work with communities that could benefit from direction on climate resilience tool use (particularly lower-capacity communities) or if you find yourself working on climate resilience issues routinely, particularly ones that may be on the more complicated end of the spectrum. Becoming a Power User allows you to become a climate resilience tool resource for the communities or region you serve.
Training Kit
This training kit can be used either:
(1) on your own or with a small group (recommended as a small group), following along below with lessons 1-4, or
(2) by a Gulf TREE Power User leading a training as a train-the-trainer style workshop, in which case we recommend downloading the “Full Train-the-Trainer Resource Kit”. This zipped file contains the same resources as listed in lessons 1-4 but with slight language changes for the different situation.
