PLACE: SLR offers trainings to natural resource managers who work on managed lands to help them move through the overwhelm of addressing sea-level rise to actionable decision making using the structured RAD framework.

What is RAD?
RAD is a framework developed by representatives of several agencies across the US Department of the Interior to help resource managers determine actions in a structured way.
RAD stands for:
Resist change to maintain a historical or current condition.
Accept change without any significant management response.
Direct change by managing for a new, desirable condition.
The RAD framework helps resource managers to work through the factors that go into making a management decision as well as the results of those decisions to determine the best course of action for dealing with environmental change.
