Description: The MIRA tool is an interactive map that explores the effects of sea level rise on the Mississippi coast. Using Hurricane Katrina as a backdrop, it simulates what could have happened if I struck in the year 2050 when sea level was 6, 12, or 18 inches higher that it was in 2005. Additionally, the tool goes back in time to 1960 when sea level was 5 inches lower.
